What we do...

The Thinkery changes the way families learn and play. Our ground breaking approach leads the nation in a new way to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) through facilitated, inquiry-based experiences. Each visit yields unique personal insights and cherished memories for more than 550,000 visitors each year.

Why we need you...

According to the most recent census data, almost 20% of Austinites live below poverty level. This is greater than the Texas average and almost 5% greater than the national average. Our Open Door Initiative provides free admission, program discounts, school tour stipends and scholarships for thousands of Texas families in need. This year alone, the Thinkery is committed to fundraising almost $1 million dollars to ensure this extraordinary experience is accessible to our entire community.

Who is impacted...

IMAGINARIUM proceeds directly impact our community, providing admission stipends for 21,000 students from Title I schools, free admission and programming for Community night which welcomes more than 25,000 parents and kids annually, free admission for more than 13,000 Military families, and thousands of dollars in camp scholarships.

Join us at IMAGINARIUM and open the door for Austin’s children!
