Thinkery
at the Meredith Learning Lab
1830 Simond Ave
Austin, TX 78723

Note: Please make sure your Thinkery directions lead you to the Mueller complex and not the old downtown Austin Children’s Museum. Google Maps has occasionally given wrong directions, and we are working with Google to remedy this issue as soon as possible. Apologies for any technical difficulties.

Parking

Thinkery offers visitors free parking in the Mueller Town Center garage located north of the museum on McBee Street. Currently the garage is not charging a fee. When they begin charging, the Thinkery will waive the fee by validating your parking ticket.

Free street parking is also available. Do not park in the lot next to Mueller Lake Park, or the AMLI at Mueller parking garage. The Thinkery does not control parking in those lot and violators will be towed.

Bike parking is available near the main entrance of the Thinkery.

Group tour buses must unload and load students at the group entrance on east side of the museum.

Public Transportation

Capital Metro offers some routes within walking distance of the Museum:  37, 135 and 350. Visit capmetro.org for the latest information.
