We are sorry to announce that Thinkery will be cancelling all General Admission sessions beginning tomorrow (January 12) through Friday, January 21.
As many organizations have seen during the current surge, a number of our museum experience team members have reported breakthrough cases of COVID-19 or close contact exposure to people who’ve tested positive. Fortunately, everyone’s symptoms so far have been mild and the affected staffers are recovering at home. However, this means we do not have the necessary staff available to open and operate the museum for General Admission at this time.
Our goal is to reopen fully on Saturday, January 22.
We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this unexpected closure may cause. If you have purchased General Admission tickets online, we will email you directly about rebooking your visit.
Little Thinkers Preschool will continue its normal operations and class schedule. Thinkery will also accommodate any field trips previously scheduled between now and the 21st to avoid creating significant disruptions for our local school partners. Please note that these plans are subject to change should any additional staffers require exclusion based on a positive COVID test result.
We look forward to reopening on Saturday, January 22, and will post any additional updates on our website and social media pages. We hope to see you back at the museum soon!

AUSTIN: Find out how you can get tested for COVID or make a vaccine appointment.
