allgo celebrates and nurtures vibrant queer people of color communities in Texas and beyond. We do this through cultural arts, wellness, and social justice programming by supporting artists and artistic expression within our diverse communities; promoting health within a wellness model; and mobilizing and building coalitions among groups marginalized by race/ethnicity, gender/gender identity, sexual orientation/sexual identity to enact change.

Transgender Education Network of Texas
TENT is an organization dedicated to furthering gender-diverse equality in Texas. We work to accomplish this through education and networking in both public and private forums. Through our efforts, we strive to halt discrimination through social, legislative, and corporate education.

I love performing Drag Queen Storytime because it’s a fun and meaningful program celebrating diversity in how children may dress and act. It encourages children to look beyond gender stereotypes and embrace unfettered exploration of self. Programs like this help promote acceptance of difference and help to prevent bullying while providing an enjoyable literary experience.
