Thinkery Volunteer Spotlight: Mary L.

At Thinkery, we are so thankful for our volunteers—their time, service and commitment is crucial to Thinkery’s success. Here on the Thinkery blog, we love highlighting the fantastic work and contributions put forth by our incredible roster of volunteers, VolunTeens and interns. Today, we’re celebrating Mary L.

Every week, volunteers help prepare much-needed materials for upcoming activities, programs and events. From summer camp kits to Thinkery21 activities to Baby Bloomers stations, our amazing volunteers work hard to make sure everything is prepped, in place and ready to go. One of these stellar volunteers is the effervescent and ever-dependable Mary L.

Mary typically volunteers with Thinkery on Thursdays. She’s always on-hand to assist with preparations for Baby Bloomers, our program designed specifically for children ages 0–3. Whether she’s working on hands-on manipulatives or setting up stations, Mary works diligently to complete her tasks. Her enthusiastic and efficient work ethic is truly appreciated by everyone. A true team player, Mary is always asking what she can do to help—she often jumps in without any direction all. Whatever the job may be, Mary’s there to make sure it gets done.

Mary also helps frequently assists with our Little Thinkers Club. Her warm and welcoming attitude is the perfect fit for this eight-week series for young learners. Toddlers just love Mary. And we do, too!
