Autism Society of Texas & William’s School Eclipse Viewing (Private event)

    April 8 @ 12:30 pm 2:00 pm

The Autism Society of Texas is providing the telescope, sound device, and eclipse glasses to Williams Community School, a small private school that primarily serves students with Autism with a high level of support needs. In addition, we will provide them with social narratives and tips for the educators to prepare them for what to expect during the event. This is a closed/private event.

In addition, the Autism Society of Texas created social narratives and parent tips in English and Spanish, and provided sensory kits to all participating nonprofits in the Joyful Learning Collaborative, so that everyone’s events can be sensory-friendly! In addition to handing out hard copies, materials are also available on the Autism Society of Texas website
