Baby Bloomers
Friday & Saturday, 8 – 10 AM
Theme: Splash into Summer!
Baby Bloomers is a special program during which the museum is open exclusively for visitors ages 0–3 years and their families.
Thinkery LIVE
From lively music to engaging puppet shows and more, each event will offer a unique, interactive experience for the whole family to enjoy during your visit to the museum.
STEAM Sundays
Join us each Sunday in July as Thinkery explores the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Each Sunday features themed Story Times and hands-on activities — all included with your General Admission ticket.

Artist in Residence
Thinkery’s Artist in Residence (AIR) program aims to bring local, interactive art into our museum at the Meredith Learning Lab.
C.R.E.A.T.E
C.R.E.A.T.E. (Collaboration to Realize Equity and Teach Engineering) is a partnership with Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area and NI designed to inspire and prepare a diverse pipeline of future engineers.

Grand Day Out

Celebrate Grand Day Out at Thinkery! We’re inviting grandparents and grandkids to spend a playful day together exploring exhibits, making memories, and sparking curiosity. Visitors 65+ receive $2 off General Admission. Perfect for a special summer outing across generations.

Play Lab
Tuesday, July 22 | 10 AM – 12 PM
Our exhibit team has created custom-built creations that move, crank, and roll, offering a hands-on Play Lab experience that’s all about discovery and momentum. Come explore ramps, gears, and moving parts in action and see where your curiosity takes you!

Join us for Thinkery LIVE with beloved local performer Tio Toto! This interactive musical experience blends singalong folk-pop, quirky storytelling, and hands-on instrument exploration—where kids help shape the show with their own lyrics, dance moves, and rhythms.
STEAM Sundays: Art Day
Sunday, July 27 | 10 AM – 5 PM
Celebrate creativity in motion with a full day of artistic expression! From collaging with upcycled materials to creating sidewalk masterpieces with chalk, there’s something for every budding artist. Don’t miss our pop-ups, such as texture rubbings and Postcards from the Museum, a colorful way to capture your visit!

STEAM Sundays: Math Day

Discover how fun and surprisingly creative math can be! From building wild 3D shapes to slicing up pretend pizzas, Math Day is all about puzzles, patterns, and playful problem-solving. Explore geometry through hands-on shape play, dive into fractions with pizza-themed activities, and reimagine math as a world of imagination, movement, and design.
