Thinkery Family Night
Last Tuesday of the month from 3 – 7 PM
Thinkery Family Night is a monthly pay-what-you-can event held on the last Tuesday of each month from 3 PM to 7 PM. Families are invited to explore the museum, play together, and enjoy Thinkery after school and during work hours.
Admission is pay-what-you-can, with a suggested ticket price of $1–$19 per person to help keep this program sustainable and accessible for all.
Thinkery Family Night is all about joy, learning, and community. We can’t wait to see you there!
Family Night: Pride Celebration
August 25 from 3 PM – 6 PM
Celebrate Austin Pride during Thinkery’s monthly Family Night Hours. Families can connect with local organizations, discover community resources, enjoy interactive games and activities, and gather for a special Pride-themed Story Time celebrating love, belonging, and being yourself.
To help make your visit as smooth as possible, we strongly encourage families to pre-book tickets.

Equality Texas
Decorate your own Pride crown while you learn more about Equality Texas and discover ways they’re working to build a more inclusive Texas through advocacy, education, and community engagement.
Out Youth
Connect with OutYouth team members, and participate in the “Rock Your Pride” activity, where they can transform plain stones into pocket-sized art. You can paint affirmations, pride flags, or anything you like, then take your rock home or donate it to OutYouth’s community rock garden.
Thinkery
Ribbons of Pride: Create a colorful ribbon ring that celebrates what you’re proud of and join in on a special Story Time.
Ally Medical
Become a doctor for the day at Ally Medical’s Teddy Bear Clinic.
