Calling all Black moms and their families. It is time for our annual camping trip. This year we will convene at Lake Bastrop South Shore Park for a fun filled weekend of fellowship, food, and pre-eclipse activities. We will explore earth, moon, and sun concepts, talk about eclipse safety, do some star gazing through our telescope, and discover animal patterns during the day and at night. By the end of the camping trip all families will be prepared to experience the total solar eclipse on April 8th AND to be experts in helping their communities and school prepare in the coming weeks. We can’t wait to see you during Spring Break!
Campsites range from $50 per night for tent sites to $250 per night for cabins + tax. Visit the LCRA parks page to reserve your campsite OR join us for a day trip.
