“We learned ways to make the world a better place,” a Daisy Girl Scout happily exclaimed during a recent Thinkery Scout Night. A chaperone added, “The best part of the event was how hands on it was. They love how interactive the activities are!”
Thinkery Scout Nights and Sleepovers allow Girl and Cub Scouts to complete their badge requirements through signature STEAM activities. These programs offer unique experiences where Scouts learn through inquiry and exploration. It’s amazing to see the journey from question to answer through the Scout’s own creative problem solving.
Each Scout Night or Sleepover has activities applicable to a specific badge. Scout Nights aren’t just about learning and earning badges—they’re also a lot of fun and help create and strengthen friendships. Participants interact with other troupes as well as Scout siblings, who are also welcome to participate. Even non-Scouts can take home a custom Thinkery STEAM icon patch or earn one during our public Patch Nights.
During each event, Scouts have the entire museum all to themselves! Sleepovers allow them to make Thinkery their home for the night.
Interesting in attending a Scout Night or Sleepover this spring? These events welcome Daisy, Brownie and Junior level Girl Scouts or Tiger and Wolf level Cub Scouts.
