Michelle, Lead Teacher
My name is Michelle. I am originally from Minnesota, but I have had the opportunity to live in LA, Boston, and now Texas. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and reading. I am planning on going back to school to finish my BA degree!

Hello everyone! My name is Lara and I am originally from South Carolina, where I was in science education for four years. I love working at Thinkery and sharing STEAM education with children! In my free time, I like to explore Austin, bake, and travel!

Hi! My name is Jada. I have been working in the preschool for three years and feel like I have truly found my calling! I was born and raised in Austin, and in my free time, I enjoy being with my dogs, Kojak and Tyson, and singing karaoke.

Andrea, Senior Lead Teacher
My name is Andrea and I am so excited to be joining the LTP. I have extensive experience in childcare and have worked with children in various capacities. I fell in loved in teaching and three years ago I decided to work to obtain my Master’s in Early Education and make teaching my career. I am delighted to have the opportunity to teach at Thinkery and have the ability to share my own personal knowledge while also gaining new knowledge.

Hi, I’m Jackie Guerra. I’m fairly new to Austin and Texas. I’m originally from Denver, Colorado. I attended Metro State College, where I received my BA in Art History. I have been teaching for 25 years and have most recently taught Pre-K for the last five years.

Hello, my name is Christian Alvarado. I’m originally from New York, but I’ve lived in Austin for 5 years now. I love to write and listen to music, and I’m excited to be teaching here as well as to continue my growth and learning.
