Discover the power of STEAM through play at Thinkery’s seasonal STEAM Sundays! Families can dive into hands-on activities, themed story times, and expert-led pop-ups that celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—all included with General Admission. 

Families this month can chill out with cool experiments and warm up their imagination through winter-themed STEAM play, hands-on activities, and opportunities to connect with Thinkery educators and community experts. It’s a fun, seasonal way to spark curiosity and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

How many ways can you sort a basket of toys? Families will use clues and creative thinking to categorize objects in unexpected ways—revealing how our brains learn, organize, and adapt.

Thinkery Pop-Up Experiences

Ice Excavation – Frozen arctic animals are trapped in ice! Dig in and rescue them through hands-on sensory play while exploring temperature and texture.

Snowball Battles in Fortastic Adventure – Build forts, take cover, and toss plush “snowballs” in this cozy, no-mess winter showdown that encourages teamwork, movement, and imaginative play.

STEAM Ice Demonstrations & Themed Story Times – Catch live STEAM demos featuring ice and seasonal science, then cozy up for story times inspired by winter wonder and curiosity.
