There are easier things than opening a STEAM-focused preschool in the midst of a pandemic—but few more rewarding.
LIttle Thinkers Preschool successfully completed its first academic year in May. We were delighted to celebrate our first graduating class of 13 four-year-olds with an outdoor ceremony on Mueller Lake Park. These incredible kiddos are set to begin their Kindergarten journey this fall, but have already taken the first steps to becoming lifelong learners.
Recent headlines have shown the widespread negative impact the pandemic had on students throughout Texas, particularly in math. This dramatically underscores the need to create a strong foundation for learning and discovery for children at an early age.
Little Thinkers Preschool is thrilled to be moving forward into year two and we remain committed to our inquiry-rich, play-based approach to the STEAM curriculum. Our students will continue to learn and develop through innovated, thoughtful activities and gallery experiences they can feel excited about, engaged in, and encouraged by.
Thinkery could not have accomplished this without the deep commitment and dedication of our preschool education staff, or the generous contributions of The Webber Family Foundation, NXP, Capital One, St. David’s Foundation, The Dudley T. Doughtery Foundation, and The Genevieve and Ward Orsinger Foundation. Our sincere thanks to all of them for helping make Little Thinkers Preschool a success!
Our preschool waitlist is open year round, so families can register their child for any individual openings that may become available. Waitlist registrants also have first-come, first-served access when new registration cycles begin. Join the waitlist today!
