In 2017, Thinkery raised more than $25,000 to #AmplifyTheFuture, and this year, we’re thinking even bigger. Amplify Austin 2018 kicks off Thursday, March 1 at 6 pm, and we invite you to #ThinkBIG with us. Your support in helping us reach our $35,000 Amplify goal will ensure that our door is always open, and that our hands-on, play-based learning experiences are accessible to all.
How is Thinkery THINKING BIG? We are expanding our programming to serve, inspire and engage MORE of our community—including our brand-new, inclusion-focused Community Night Spotlight evenings.
In 2017, we launched our new Community Night Spotlight program, a monthly event that celebrates our community and explores diversity. Inclusion is one of Thinkery’s key values, and we were thrilled to launch a program that promotes the rich diversity that makes Austin such an amazing place to live, play and learn. We kicked off the program with LGBTQ Pride Night, Hispanic Heritage Month, Disability Awareness Month and Native American Heritage Month, and we are excited to continue this special spotlight series in 2018.
Join us Wednesday, February 28 from 4–8 pm for a celebration of Black Heritage, featuring hands-on activities and community presenters from the George Washington Carver Museum, Six Square and Mo’ Math Mo’ Money.
Admission during Community Night Spotlight (and every Community Night) is by donation, meaning these cultural celebrations and playful explorations are affordable for and accessible to our entire community.
