    Thinkery VolunTeen Spotlight: Fall 2017

    We believe in our volunteers. We believe in their impact. We truly believe they make a difference. And that’s because they do—their time, service and commitment is crucial to Thinkery’s success. 

    Here on the Thinkery blog, we love highlighting the fantastic work and contributions put forth by our incredible roster of volunteers, VolunTeens and interns. Today, we’re celebrating our amazing Fall 2017 VolunTeen cohort!

    In Fall 2017, Thinkery welcomed 18 amazing teens to our new cohort.

    Thinkery VolunTeens in our Fall 2017 cohort served 1,098 hours throughout the semester. That’s 61 hours PER teen!
    Thinkery VolunTeen
    Our Fall 2017 cohort practiced their facilitation and presentation skills while learning and refining useful professional skills like time management and character development. The teens bonded with each other and loved getting to know the museum—and our staff. The cohort wrapped up their training in December and will begin working toward their 100 hour goal!
