‘Tis the season at the museum! We’ve got new and exciting ways to incorporate STEAM this winter—and we can’t wait for you to join us.
Have you experienced Thinkery with your toddler yet? Baby Bloomers is a specially designed program where the museum is open just for visitors ages 0–3 years and their families. Sing and dance along with special guests, explore and tinker with rotating monthly themes, and watch your toddler develop before your eyes. Baby Bloomers engages our youngest visitors in a hands-on environment—all while learning through play!
December
The weather’s getting colder (finally!), and we’re celebrating all month long with our special Winter Wonders series. Come craft snowflakes, read seasonal books and get cozy in our geodesic dome—our version of an igloo!—in Innovators’ Workshop.
January
Get ready to warm up and Boogie on Down! In January, we’ll tinker with instruments and move our bodies to the rhythm of the beat. Can you make up a new dance in Move Studio? What music can you make with water-based instruments in Currents? Through song and dance, we’ll get movin’ and groovin’ as we shake our “sillies” out all month long!

Early exposure to sensory activities fosters exploration and naturally encourages children to use scientific processes while they play and create. What colors do you notice in Light Lab? Can you sense the texture difference between vegetables in Let’s Grow? Join us as we tackle sight, sound, smell and touch in All About Senses!
