Dino Day at Thinkery 

Sunday, June 28 | 10 AM – 5 PM

Whether your child knows every dinosaur by name or just loves to roar, Dino Day at Thinkery will be filled with prehistoric fun. Throughout the day, families can build their own dinosaur, enjoy a dino-mite Storytime featuring a special guest, and keep an eye out for Jurassic surprises throughout the museum. Step back in time and explore the world of the incredible creatures that once roamed the Earth. Costumes are encouraged, so come dressed as your favorite prehistoric creature or explorer. There’s something for every budding paleontologist. 

Dino Day is included with General Admission.  

Dino Day Lineup 

March of the Dinosaurs: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM & 2:30 – 3:30 PM  
Build a larger-than-life cardboard dinosaur puppet and discover what made these prehistoric creatures so unique. Then bring your creation to life as you roar and march through the museum in a dino-sized parade. 
 
Jurassic Storytime: 11 AM, 2 PM, 4 PM 
Enjoy a rawr-some Storytime filled with prehistoric adventures and dinosaur-sized imagination. Stick around after the story for a special visit from a T. rex guest that is sure to delight dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages. 

Build-a-Saurus Challenge: 10 AM – 5 PM 
How big, tall, or wild can your creature be? Use LEGO® bricks, DUPLO® bricks, and Imagination Playground blocks to bring your own dinosaur to life and see where your imagination takes you. 

Creature Feature: 10 AM – 5 PM  
Lights, camera, dinosaurs! Use Animation Station to create your own stop-motion film starring your favorite dinosaur. Bring your star to life and create a movie millions of years in the making. 

Paleontologist’s Hunt: 10 AM – 5 PM 
Search the museum for hidden dinosaurs, find them all, and claim a special prize at the end of your hunt.
