Fortastic Adventure: Imagine. Design. Build! is a hands-on, interactive exhibit that invites children of all ages (and the kid in all of us) to discover the joy, creativity, and artistic side of architecture and engineering.
Designed entirely in-house, this gallery encourages open-ended fort building using oversized, everyday-inspired objects like sheets, pulleys, furniture, and mounting points. Families can dive into the design process and bring their most imaginative ideas to life—one blanket fort at a time!
Things to know and what to try:
- Hang sheets to create the fort of your dreams.
- Challenge your little thinker with a building challenge: how high can they make their fort or how might they create a home for their favorite lovey. (just don’t leave your lovey at Thinkery!)
- Play an epic game of peek-a-boo with your baby or hide and seek with older kids.
