Summer Field Trips
Engage students with fun, hands-on exploration and STEAM activities.
Any group traveling by bus or with more than 10 students must schedule a visit in advance.
We cannot guarantee admission for groups without reservations.
Reserve your visit by submitting a request form.
Thinkery’s Summer Field Trips provide a playful, hands-on experience for students, teachers and chaperones to nurture creativity, collaboration, and problem solving skills, while building STEAM knowledge.
Our field trips empower students and chaperones, letting them freely explore our galleries at their own pace in smaller, self-guided groups. Students engage more when exploring in these smaller groups rather than together as a whole class. Students enjoy additional hands-on interactions through Thinkery-facilitated activities during their visit.
Masks are required at Thinkery
Thinkery requires ALL staff and guests over 24 months to wear a mask while in the museum and our Little Thinkers Preschool.
If you or any member of your group are not able to wear a mask for any reason, we invite you to reschedule your visit for a future date when these requirements are no longer in place.
Galleries and activities are aligned to Texas Education Agency guidelines for Pre-K–5th grade. A field trip is 1.5 hours, with access to multiple galleries at your own pace.
