A longtime member of the Thinkery community, Jessie has experienced Thinkery as a parent, board member, and now brings that unique perspective to her new role of Interim CEO. Her journey reflects the very heart of what Thinkery stands for: joyful learning, curiosity, and community.
For Jessie, museums have always been places of wonder, discovery, and growth. That love of exploration is what first drew her to Thinkery and continues to inspire her today.

Looking ahead, Jessie is excited for Thinkery to continue expanding its impact across Central Texas. From growing the STEAM Learning Institute and building deeper school and community partnerships to welcoming even more families to Thinkery – Del Valle, she’s inspired by the potential to reach children in meaningful, lasting ways.

Above all, Jessie’s vision for Thinkery is rooted in the magic of joyful learning. As a parent, she has seen firsthand how play transforms children’s growth.
“My daughter has been coming to Thinkery since she was six weeks old, and with each visit, she rediscovers the exhibits and activities in new ways as she develops. It’s incredible to see her gain confidence, explore freely, and have so much fun—all through a play-based approach that nurtures creativity and curiosity.”
With Jessie as Interim CEO, Thinkery is excited to continue leading the future of play-based STEAM experiences that inspire and equip ALL children to be confident, creative thinkers.
