Museums for All

Receive FREE General Admission and Baby Bloomers tickets through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and Association of Children’s Museums’ Museums for All program

Visitors with Texas Electronic Benefits Transfer (Lone Star /SNAP), WIC, STAR, CHIP, Medicaid, MAP/MAP BASIC, and tribal identification cards receive FREE General Admission or Baby Bloomers tickets. (Special programs and events excluded.) 

Educators, military, and first responders

Receive $3 off per ticket, up to five tickets – Proof of ID is required upon entry

Reciprocal Programs

Thinkery accepts reciprocal benefits for ACM and ASTC member organizations when tickets are purchased onsite only. Members of ACM organizations can receive up to 6 general admission tickets at 50% off. Members of ASTC organizations can receive up to 4 free general admission tickets. Proof of membership and a photo ID is required.

Thinkery is committed to providing the highest quality visit for all of our guests. While the information here provides a general overview of accessibility features, we encourage you to contact us in advance of your visit with any questions or specific needs.  

Wheelchair Accessibility

Thinkery is fully wheelchair accessible. Elevator access is available on both floors

Accessible Parking

Limited accessible metered street parking is available near Thinkery and at the McBee Street District Garage.

Resources

• Thinkery’s social story prepares visitors for what to expect when visiting the Meredith Learning Lab.  
• Thinkery can be loud for some visitors. We offer a limited number of sound-reducing headphones for visitors. 
• Sensory-friendly backpacks are available. Contents include sound-reducing headphones, sunglasses, and a calming toy.  
• We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for checkout.  

All resources are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be checked out at the Admissions desk. Visitors are requested to leave a photo ID at Admissions.
