Discover the power of STEAM through play at Thinkery’s seasonal STEAM Sundays! Families can dive into hands-on activities, themed story times, and expert-led pop-ups that celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—all included with General Admission.
Families can explore hands-on STEAM activities inspired by the summer season. From engineering solutions for ocean ecosystems to testing inventions and exploring the science of the natural world, Summer STEAM Sundays bring science, creativity, and play together for a day of joyful learning.
Summer STEAM Activities & Community Partners
Design Challenge: Tide Pool Clean Up | 11:30 AM- 12:30 PM & 3 – 4 PM
Families will design and build a cleanup invention using upcycled materials, then test their creation in a model tide pool. As they experiment and improve their designs, they’ll explore engineering, problem-solving, and how innovative solutions can help protect marine habitats and the plants and animals that live there.
Summer Themed Story Times | 11 AM, 2 PM, & 4 PM
Sunny Summer Fun in Our Backyard
Spin, twirl, draw, and play in The Backyard! Grab a hula hoop, create chalk art masterpieces, and enjoy some outdoor fun.
