Summer is finally here! How will you beat the heat? We hope you’ll spend your break with us as we build, explore and tinker together all summer long.
The next few months are jam-packed with hands-on, fun-filled and STEAM-fueled activities for your family to enjoy. Just take a look at our special summertime Baby Bloomers programming!
Have you and your toddler explored Thinkery during Baby Bloomers? This specially designed program gives early learners ages 0–3 and their families an opportunity to experience the museum in an environment focused solely on them. Each month, we dive into a different theme and welcome special guests to engage our youngest visitors in a fun and hands-on environment—all while learning through play!
July
Summer is here, let’s give a big cheer! Ready to soak up the sun and Splash into Summer? Thought so. In July, your family can make kites in Mini Maker Lab, pack pretend summer picnics in Let’s Grow and surf giant “waves” in Move Studio. Not feeling the heat? (Who is?) Come cool off in Currents, where you can make music with water droplets and drums. Let’s make splash!
August
Lions and tigers and bears—oh my! This August, unleash your inner animal during Animal Adventures, a month-long, sensory-friendly exploration of all things animals. Can you leap like a frog or crouch like a monkey? We’ll wiggle and giggle while moving our bodies through various animal-inspired yoga movements and shapes in Move Studio. Take a look at our list of special guests—we have some furry friends who will be making a few appearances. It’s a barnyard bash!
September
There’s no place like Baby Bloomers! In September, join us somewhere over the rainbow as we create Colorful Creations all month long. We’ll explore the spectacular color spectrum and use our sense of sight to investigate and identify the colors of the rainbow.
The best way to beat the heat this summer is by playing and learning at Thinkery. Join us for Baby Bloomers!
