It’s time to get super-stitched! Gain special access into Space 8, and learn the basics of sewing while designing your own unique superhero capes!

Perfect for pre-Halloween fun! Join us in Space 8 as we stitch together the basics of circuitry and embroidery while creating light-up Trick or Treat bags.

It’s Harvest Time!, 9 am–12 pm, ages 0–3
When the harvest moon is high in the sky, it’s time to bring in the harvest. In this fall-focused Baby Bloomers program, we’ll learn the difference between a fruit and a vegetable, work on color matching and find out how we can eat a vegetable rainbow!

Little Thinkers Club jump starts your toddler’s learning by introducing them to hands-on, age-appropriate STEAM concepts. In Nature as Our Canvas, we’re bringing the outdoors in and investigating using our senses.
Community Night, 4–8 pm, all ages
It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s time for Community Night! Every Wednesday from 4–8 pm, admission to the museum is by donation—meaning you’re able to pay what you can. Families love reading books to Bacchus, a certified therapy dog, in Story Nook.

Thinkery21: Inheritance Hunt – The Tequila Fortune, 7–10 pm, ages 21+
Sorry, kids, this one’s just for mom and dad. (And for those without kids, too!) Our popular adults-only, after-hours program, Thinkery21, returns with Inheritance Hunt – The Tequila Fortune on October 27. We’re turning the entire museum into a giant, interactive puzzle that you (yes, YOU) have to solve. Come play with miniature horses, sip tasty tequila and have a blast!

Ever wonder what makes planes, trains, cars and bikes move? Want to build a pulley, wedge, wheel and axle? In Make It Move!, children ages 2–4 explore simple machines and discover how things move!
Family Night: Halloween Hootenanny, 6–9 pm, all ages
Break in your Halloween costume a few days early! Our annual Halloween Hootenanny is a fun-filled, family-friendly evening of spooky science. Featuring exploding pumpkins, magical potions and more, this fall celebration is a can’t-miss, must-attend event for your family.

Five Little Pumpkins, 9–10 am, ages 0–3
Let’s roll into the pumpkin patch and explore all-things pumpkin! We’ll make a pumpkin erupt like an orange volcano, get messy sorting through pumpkin seeds and paint a beautiful mini-pumpkin—just in time for Halloween.

Halloween is almost here! Celebrate the spirit of the season in Whisks and Wizards! We’re exploring the culinary world of witches and wizards and mixing up tasty treats. Expecto delicious!
